Well, of course it would. Net neutrality is, after all, a threat to the profits of their cronies in Big Cable™freedom. Maybe if we lived in Bizarro World, freedom actually would somehow be threatened by net neutrality.

Yesterday, President Obama came out and called for strict Net Neutrality regulation by the FCC for the Internet. This, of course, has the big ISPs and cable providers, their paid lobbyists, and the Republicans now in control of both sides of Congress, all in a predictably huge buttmad tizzy ( Read more... )

As someone who used Comcast for about 9 years before moving from WA to NC and started using Time Warner Cable instead, I really, really, truly hope that Comcast is not able to buy Time Warner Cable. Netflix agrees that it would be a terrible thing as well. Found this thanks to Wil Wheaton on Twitter (via Facebook).
